President Erdoğan, Prime Minister Ibrahim of Malaysia talk over phone

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim of Malaysia.

The call addressed the Türkiye-Malaysia bilateral relations as well as regional and global developments.

President Erdoğan said the comprehensive strategic partnership between Türkiye and Malaysia improves in every area, and that they work to enhance the cooperation in many fields, defense industry in particular.

Stating that Malaysia successfully continues its ASEAN’s term presidency, President Erdoğan voiced his expectation that Türkiye would be announced as a Dialogue Partner during the 47th ASEAN Summit to be held in October.

Stressing that the humanitarian situation in Gaza is getting increasingly graver, the two leaders noted that the international pressure on the Israeli government must be increased.
