President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s message on the 102nd anniversary of the signing of the Lausanne Peace Treaty

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan shared a message on the occasion of the 102nd anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Lausanne.

In his message President Erdoğan made the following remarks;

"Today marks the 102nd anniversary of the signing of the Lausanne Peace Treaty, which confirmed and registered our august nation's will and struggles for independence in the eyes of international law.

102 years after Lausanne, our nation's journey of development and prosperity continues with determination under the vision of the Century of Türkiye.

With a foreign policy grounded in peace, cooperation, and mutual respect, we are moving forward with confidence on the path to becoming a leading power in our region and the world.

Today, we are in a better position than yesterday in every field; inshallah, we will reach much higher levels tomorrow.

On the 102nd anniversary of the Lausanne Peace Treaty, I once again remember with mercy the founder of our Republic, Ghazi Mustafa Kemal, as well as the heroes of the National Struggle and all our martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the defense of our homeland, and I honor our veterans with gratitude."
