“It is our top priority to protect the rights of our workers”

 

Speaking at a meeting with representatives of employees, public servants and employers on the occasion of Labor Day, President Erdoğan said: “Protecting the rights of our workers, who nourish their efforts with the sweat of their brows, has always been our top priority. We have mobilized all our means to increase the prosperity level of employees and employers, and to ensure that trade unions maintain their activities.”

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received representatives of employees, public servants and employers on the occasion of Labor Day at the Presidential Complex.

Speaking at the meeting, President Erdoğan voiced his pleasure over coming together with the participants on the occasion of Labor Day, and said: “I congratulate all our workers on Labor Day. I extend my gratitude to all my brothers and sisters, who drop sweat, endeavor, strive and selflessly work in order for Türkiye to develop and advance, and for our nation to grow stronger.”

President Erdoğan said: “Protecting the rights of our workers, who nourish their efforts with the sweat of their brows, has always been our top priority. We have mobilized all our means to increase the prosperity level of employees and employers, and to ensure that trade unions maintain their activities. With this understanding, we have implemented the necessary laws and regulations one by one in the past 23 years. We have re-addressed union rights, and improved them to a great extent.”

Stating that they will continue to work with same will and determination from now on as well, President Erdoğan added: “We, together with our employees, employers, farmers, manufacturers, trade unions and all our workers, will carry Türkiye to a much stronger future.”
