President Erdoğan attends 24th SCO Summit

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the 24th Summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Astana, Kazakhstan.

Welcomed by President Kassym-Jomart K. Tokayev of Kazakhstan upon his arrival at the Palace of Independence, the Summit’s venue, President Erdoğan joined President Vladimir Putin of Russia, President Xi Jinping of China, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan, President Sadyr Japarov of Kyrgyzstan, President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan, Acting President of Iran Mohammad Mokhber, President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh of Mongolia, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan, President Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus, President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan, Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani of Qatar, Minister of External Affairs of India Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Member of the Federal Supreme Council of the United Arab Emirates and Chairman of the Ras Al Khaimah Municipal Council Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the People’s Council of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres for a family photo prior to the Summit.
