President Erdoğan inaugurates Gümrükçü İshak Ağa Mosque in Istanbul

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the reopening ceremony of the newly-restored Gümrükçü İshak Ağa Mosque in Istanbul.

President Erdoğan performed the Friday prayer at the Gümrükçü İshak Ağa Mosque, which was recently restored by the Directorate General of Foundations, in the Sarıyer district of Istanbul.

Inaugurating the mosque after the prayer, President Erdoğan remembered with grace and gratitude Gümrükçü İshak Ağa, the founding benefactor of the mosque who served in different capacities, including as Chief of Customs, during the Ottoman era.
