President Erdoğan receives Turkish National Police delegation
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya and a delegation from the Turkish National Police at the Presidential Complex on the occasion of the 180th foundation anniversary of the police forces.
Speaking at the reception, President Erdoğan voiced his pleasure over meeting with police forces on the occasion of the 180th foundation anniversary of the Turkish National Police, and said: “I wish the Police Week, which we will begin marking as of tomorrow, will lead to auspicious outcomes for our police forces, country and nation. I wish the activities to be carried out during the week will further strengthen our unity and solidarity. I remember with grace all our martyr police officers, soldiers, gendarmeries and security guards, who sacrificed their lives for the future of our nation without a second thought. I wish an auspicious and abundant life to our ghazis, and extend gratitude each and every one of them on my and my nation’s behalf.”
