President Erdoğan spoke at the AK Party TBMM Group Meeting

 

Addressing AK Party’s parliamentary group meeting, President Erdoğan said: “We will never compromise Türkiye’s security. We will not allow, no matter what it takes, our region or our lands to be operated on. Türkiye is more than capable of thwarting the expansionist desires, the evil eyes set on our homeland and growing intentions for occupation.”

President and Justice and Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at the party’s parliamentary group meeting.

Commencing his speech by wishing Allah’s mercy upon those, who lost their lives in the flood disaster in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and a speedy recovery to the injured, President Erdoğan noted that AFAD, Kızılay and TİKA have already taken action to contribute to the healing of the wounds.

“WE TAKE ALL THE MEASURES FOR THE SECURITY OF OUR STATE AND NATION”

Drawing attention to the ongoing attacks Israel launched on Gaza in October 7, 2023, President Erdoğan stated that 50 thousand people have been martyrized in the massacres Israel has carried out in Gaza, the West Bank and recently in Lebanon, and said: “1.9 million people have been displaced in Gaza, and 1.3 million people in Lebanon. The material and emotional damage of the massacre increase each passing day. The danger of the war spreading to other countries in our region grows. That our neighbor Iran responded to Israel’s increasing attacks last week has elevated more than ever the risk of a regional conflict. We closely follow this tension, whereby a new threshold is crossed almost every day, and take all the measures for the security of our state and nation.”

Pointing out that they have always kept Türkiye away from regional tensions, and been one of those who seek to put out fires not of those who add fuel to them, President Erdoğan said: “Netanyahu and his gang of murder are having pipe dreams and embarking on a very dangerous adventure.”

“WE WILL NOT ALLOW OUR REGION OR OUR LANDS TO BE OPERATED ON”

Underscoring that Türkiye is aware of what is sought to be done, President Erdoğan added: “We will never compromise Türkiye’s security. We will not allow, no matter what it takes, our region or our lands to be operated on. Türkiye is more than capable of thwarting the expansionist desires, the evil eyes set on our homeland and growing intentions for occupation. Let me be clear that the point that the delirium of promised lands will reach will be a grave frustration and destruction.”

Stressing that Israel has been acting as a Zionist terrorist organization by conducting the most brutal genocide of the past century in Gaza, President Erdoğan said that although the perpetrator of the Gaza genocide is Israel, this atrocity is being carried out with the strong support of Western countries and administrations, and continued as follows: “Those, who speak of ceasefire and restraint on the stage, continue to provide Israel with all kinds of weapons, ammunition and intelligence support behind the scenes. This is the case in the U.S., in Germany, and in all the Western countries. One is no better than the other. There is no difference among them. That the Gaza butcher Zionist Netanyahu was invited to the American Congress and received a standing ovation is the most obvious example of this support. History will always remember that dark scene. History will never forgive those who gave a standing ovation to a monster, who has the blood of tens of thousands of children and civilians in his hands. We will reveal this hypocrisy at every opportunity and on every platform.”

Noting that they will always be together with the countries who stand on the right side of history, President Erdoğan congratulated all countries, Spain, Norway and Slovenia in particular, which have displayed a principled stance despite pressures.

“WE DEMAND FREEDOM AND JUSTICE FOR OUR PALESTINIAN BROTHERS AND SISTERS”

Stating that he salutes with respect the gallant children of Palestine who has been resisting for a year the army of occupation backed by imperialist powers, President Erdoğan went on to say: “We know well that the legendary fight Hamas has been waging in Gaza is for Türkiye as well. We know well that the Palestinian people are defending humanity and the dignity of Muslims as well against the gang of genocide. That is why while some circles in our country cast aspersions on Hamas that it is a terrorist organization, we, since the very first day of the genocide, have been saying without fearing anyone that ‘Hamas is the Kuvayımilliye (national forces) of Palestine’.”

“As has been the case for one year, we say, ‘peace for everyone, free Palestine for everyone,’ today as well. We demand freedom and justice for our Palestinian brothers and sisters,” President Erdoğan said.
