President Erdoğan spoke at the AK Party TBMM Group Meeting
Addressing AK Party’s parliamentary group meeting, President Erdoğan said: “The Republic is protected, grown and glorified with courage and self-confidence, not with fear or timidity; and by growing bigger, including and embracing, not by shrinking, excluding or discriminating. The essence of our Republic is brotherhood.”
President and Justice and Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at the party’s parliamentary group meeting.
Reminding the attack against the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) last week, President Erdoğan wished Allah’s mercy upon the citizens who died a martyr’s death in that attack and speedy recovery to the injured, and extended his condolences to their families.
“THIS REPUBLIC BELONGS TO ANYONE FEELING THEMSELVES BELONGING TO THIS COUNTRY”
Drawing attention to the 29 October Republic Day, President Erdoğan said: “This Republic belongs to the poor as well as the rich; to the citizens of north and east as well as of west and south; to the right and to the left; to the Alevis as well as the Sunnis; to the majority as well as the minority. This republic belongs to anyone who, regardless of their faith, view, or lifestyle, feel themselves belonging to this country, nation and these lands. This republic belongs to the Kurds obviously as well as the Turks.”
Underscoring that the Turkish nation is the only nation that deserves to walk the world with pride due to the glorious victories achieved in history, President Erdoğan added: “We are a nation whose national anthem begins with, ‘Fear not.’ The Republic is protected, grown and glorified with courage and self-confidence, not with fear or timidity; and by growing bigger, including and embracing, not by shrinking, excluding or discriminating. The essence of our Republic is brotherhood. It is undoubtedly this very brotherhood we have that will sustain it forever.”
“TURKISH ECONOMY RANKS 11TH IN THE WORLD IN TERMS OF PURCHASING POWER PARITY”
Pointing out that the Republic has made significant progress in 101 years, President Erdoğan noted that the Turkish economy ranks 11th in the world in terms of purchasing power parity, and added: “We have ameliorated every corner of our country, equipping it with schools, universities, hospitals, roads, bridges and tunnels.”
Drawing attention to the progress made in defense industry, President Erdoğan went on to say: “No matter from which perspective you look, Türkiye is stronger more than ever.”
“THE ONLY LANGUAGE TERRORISTS UNDERSTAND IS AN UNCOMPROMISING FIGHT AGAINST TERROR”
Also touching upon the steps taken to eliminate terror and to keep Türkiye away from the instabilities in its region and the world, President Erdoğan continued as follows: “Let me particularly underline that we do not and will not have any call to the separatist terrorist organization in the north of Syria and Iraq, or to the terror barons in Qandil that feed on blood. Them persistently seeking to contact us is nothing but an effort to prove themselves to their patrons that have got them on a string.”
“The treacherous and nefarious attack against TAI has shown once again that the only language terrorists understand is an uncompromising fight against terror. We will determinedly maintain our fight against terror in Türkiye, in Iraq, in Syria, and wherever it exists, Europe in particular, and will definitely eradicate the threats to our country, no matter from where they come. We will inshallah have good news to our nation that will ensure the security of our southern borders from one end to the other, and the security of our citizens’ lives and properties.”
