President Erdoğan spoke at the Extended Provincial Heads Meeting of his Party

 

Speaking at a meeting with AK Party’s provincial heads, President Erdoğan said: “Our nation has always set our course in politics. We have never deviated from the path set by our nation. We made our consultations with our nation.”

President and Justice and Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at the AK Party’s Provincial Heads Meeting in Ankara.

Highlighting their political principal of “my nation first, my country first”, President Erdoğan said: “We consider every result that adds prestige to the ballot box, regardless of our party's votes, as a new threshold crossed in Türkiye's 75-year struggle for multi-party democracy. The mature stance of the AK Party and the People's Alliance has also changed the general atmosphere of politics after March 31. The messages of politicians as well as the increase in public trust in the political institution have played an important role in the softening of the political atmosphere.”

Voicing his hope that this climate would become the dominant characteristic of Turkish politics and not a temporary spring breeze,” President Erdoğan said: “We have maintained our sincerity and constructive attitude so far.”
