President Erdoğan spoke at the opening of Namazgah Mosque in Albania
Speaking at the inauguration of Namazgah Mosque in Tirana, Albania, President Erdoğan said: “It is a conscientious obligation for all of us to stand against the state terror Israel has been carrying out. By recently attacking Lebanon, the Netanyahu administration has once again shown that it has no intention of restoring peace in the region.”
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the inauguration of Namazgah Mosque in Tirana with Prime Minister Edi Rama of Albania.
Speaking at the inauguration of Namazgah Mosque, which has been built as the biggest mosque in the Balkans with the support of Türkiye, President Erdoğan thanked all those, who have contributed to the construction of the mosque, and said: “I have no doubt that Namazgah Mosque will be the symbol of the friendship, brotherhood and solidarity between us.”
“WE WILL CONTINUE TO STAND WITH ALBANIA”
Drawing attention to the mutual support between Türkiye and Albania, President Erdoğan stressed that the solidarity displayed by the Turkish and Albanian people during the earthquake disasters in the two countries has set an example to the international community, and noted: “Türkiye Albania Friendship Hospital we built in the city of Fier and the post-quake houses we built in Laç are the most concrete works of our solidarity. We as our state, institutions and nongovernmental organizations will inshallah continue to stand with Albania from now on as well.”
“NETANYAHU ADMINISTRATION HAS NO INTENTION OF RESTORING PEACE IN THE REGION”
Reminding that the genocide Israel has been carrying out in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories has left behind its first year, President Erdoğan stated that 50 thousand innocent Palestinians have been martyrized and over 100 thousand people have been injured.
President Erdoğan said mosques, churches, hospitals, schools, universities and marketplaces have been bombed, and that the Israeli administration continues its attacks regardless of whether the target is a child, a woman, a teenager, or an elderly.
Underscoring that the Israeli administration has moved its policy of massacre to Lebanon, President Erdoğan went on to say: “It is a conscientious obligation for all of us to stand against the state terror Israel has been carrying out. By recently attacking Lebanon, the Netanyahu administration has once again shown that it has no intention of restoring peace in the region. I once again call on from this sacred place all conscientious people, Muslims in particular, to adapt a common stance against the Israeli aggression.”
