President Erdoğan spoke at the "Stronger Anatolia Again" 130 Thousand Housing Turnkey Ceremony
Speaking at the key delivery ceremony of 130,000 post-quake houses in Hatay, President Erdoğan said: “We will have delivered 452,958 residential units, workplaces and barns by the end of 2025. All our eligible citizens in the earthquake zone will move into their houses.”
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at the key delivery ceremony of 130,000 post-quake houses in Hatay.
Drawing attention to the February 6 earthquakes, President Erdoğan noted that they have concentrated state’s all means on the earthquake zone, and said: “The earthquakes, which affected an area of wider than 90 countries in the world, caused big destructions in our 11 provinces, Hatay in particular. On that day, we experienced sorrow, despair and doomsday to some, and fear, disaster and pain to some. We have never forgotten our beloved under the ground, and despite the gravity of the destruction, we have always kept our hopes alive.”
As regards the post-quake houses, President Erdoğan stated that there are 152,959 eligible citizens in Hatay, and noted: “We will have delivered the keys of 201,688 houses and workplaces to their rightful owners by the end of this year. We will have delivered 452,958 residential units, workplaces and barns by the end of 2025. All our eligible citizens in the earthquake zone will move into their houses.”
Also touching upon Israel’s attack on military points in Iran, President Erdoğan added: “On this occasion, I extend my condolences to our neighbor Iran and the Iranian government, the target of the Israeli aggression. The Zionist Israeli government, which has been further spoilt by Western powers, is seeking to triggering the fire of a regional conflict through such attacks. It is of utmost importance to not fall for the games of Israel and its supporters.”
