President Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan decorated with Order of State
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan was decorated with the Order of State by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Delivering remarks during the ceremony held at the Presidential Complex, President Erdoğan stated that President Mirziyoyev has acted as a source of peace and stability in its region since he was elected President in 2016.
Pointing out that President Mirziyoyev ensured his country’s development with the Third Renaissance Projects and economic reforms, which Türkiye wholeheartedly supports, President Erdoğan said: “We are pleased to see that my brother Mirziyoyev has once again revitalized Uzbekistan, a great state with its history, culture and people. As Türkiye and its Turkish brothers and sisters, we also take pride in Uzbekistan’s achievements in every area.”
Noting that this year marks the 32nd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Türkiye and Uzbekistan, President Erdoğan said: “We will inshallah further advance our relations, which we have upgraded to the comprehensive strategic partnership level. My august brother, you have demonstrated a sincere will for the strengthening of the bonds of friendship and brotherhood between us with your exceptional leadership that paved the way for the excellent level our relations enjoy today. You have shown that you are an all-weather friend of Türkiye and the Turkish nation in all the incidents we have experienced in recent years, particularly during the February 6 earthquakes. For all these reasons, I am highly pleased to present you with the Order of State, the highest order of the Republic of Türkiye. I believe that you will consider and carry the Order of State as an embodiment of the unwavering brotherhood between our states. May Allah preserve our brotherhood and affection forever. I extend my best wishes for the happiness and prosperity of Your Excellency and the brotherly Uzbek people.”
