“Those responsible for the disaster in Bolu will be brought to justice”

Delivering remarks following the Presidential Cabinet Meeting, President Erdoğan, as regards the hotel fire in Bolu Kartalkaya, said: “Four people, including the owner of the facility, have been detained at the first stage. I must, above all, say that those who have any responsibility, any negligence, or any fault in the occurrence of such a disaster will be brought to justice at all costs.”
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a press conference following the Presidential Cabinet Meeting at the Presidential Complex.
Commencing his speech by wishing Allah’s mercy upon those, who lost their lives in the hotel fire in Bolu, and a speedy recovery to the injured, President Erdoğan stated that the administrative and legal investigations have already been launched, and said: “Four people, including the owner of the facility, have been detained at the first stage. I must, above all, say that those who have any responsibility, any negligence, or any fault in the occurrence of such a disaster will be brought to justice at all costs.”
“SANCTIONS BY WESTERN INSTITUTIONS SHOULD BE LIFTED”
Drawing attention to the visit of Syria’s new administration’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Defense and Director of Intelligence to Türkiye, President Erdoğan said that numerous critical issues were discussed during the talks, and continued as follows: “We never left alone or unprotected our Syrian brothers and sisters during the nearly 14-year-long oppression and massacres. We will stand with the new administration and the Syrian people during the efforts aimed at reviving Syria. Not only our Syrian brothers and sisters but also our entire region will benefit from the strengthening of Syria and the removal of the debris Assad left behind while fleeing. Undoubtedly, it is important for, above all, the Arab and the Islamic world to support this country in order for this recovery to take place. The sanctions imposed by Western institutions should immediately be lifted.”
“WE HAVE PROVIDED THE NECESSARY SUPPORT FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE CEASEFIRE DEAL”
Also touching upon the ceasefire deal reached in Gaza, President Erdoğan said: “We as Türkiye, through the multidimensional diplomacy we have carried out on various channels, have provided the necessary support for the establishment of the ceasefire deal. We are, too, happy that our Gazan brothers and sisters are smiling after 471 days.”
“Our Gazan brothers and sisters have paid very high prices but have neither bowed down to banditry nor given in to the policy of massacre,” President Erdoğan stressed, and added: “The whole world knows that Israel has a quite bad history regarding ceasefire violations. We believe that we should definitely prevent this by putting a constant pressure on the Israeli government. We as Türkiye will continue to do whatever is necessary during this period. We will further increase, especially ahead of the Holy Ramadan, the amount of our humanitarian aid that has already reached 100 thousand tons. By making the most of the ceasefire, we will intensify our efforts aimed at opening up a path to permanent peace in the region.”
