“Türkiye is advancing with firm steps towards its goal of being a global actor”

Speaking at a meeting with AK Party’s provincial heads, President Erdoğan said: “We have mobilized all our energy, efforts, experiences, and particularly our hearts to solve problems and heal wounds. Türkiye, led by competent and experienced cadres, is growing, strengthening, and advancing with firm steps towards its goal of being a global actor.”

President and Justice and Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the party’s provincial heads meeting in Ankara.

Commencing his speech by wishing Allah’s mercy upon the Libyan delegation, including Chief of General Staff of Libya General Mohammed Ali Ahmed Al-Haddad, and the crew, who lost their lives in the plane crash near Ankara, President Erdoğan, on behalf Türkiye and the Turkish nation, extended his condolences to the brotherly Libyan people and government, adding that the necessary investigation has been launched into the tragic incident.

“WE WILL NOT NEGLECT THE OPPRESSED PEOPLE IN THIS SEASON OF SOLIDARITY”

Drawing attention to the upcoming severe winter conditions, President Erdoğan stated that they will not neglect the oppressed people, those in Gaza in particular, in this season of solidarity, and said: “Although ceasefire has been established in Gaza since October 11, the problems in the residential areas, which Israel has turned into a wreck, still continue. As the weather has gotten colder and precipitation has begun, the burden on the Gazan people’s shoulders has gotten heavier. We all follow with heavy hearts the tents drowned by the heavy rain, and babies and children that have had hypothermia due to the extreme cold.”

“TÜRKİYE WILL NEVER LEAVE GAZA ALONE”

Underscoring that Israel does not fulfill its promises about even such a humanitarian matter and constantly raises difficulties to the entry of humanitarian aid supplies, President Erdoğan noted that Türkiye, however, endeavors to stand by the oppressed people of Gaza, and went on to say: “Our 19th ship of benevolence carrying 1,300 tons of humanitarian aid supplies reached al-Arish port of Egypt last week. The amount of the humanitarian aid supplies we have sent to Gaza in the past two years has neared 105 thousand tons. The Gazan people need medication, food, clothes and fuel to get warm. Above all, Gaza needs hope, solidarity and spiritual support. That is why we will pray a lot. We will not content ourselves with prayers, and we will further increase the amount of our aid to Palestine during the holy months. We as Türkiye will never shy away, keep silent, forget, or leave Gaza alone.”

“WE WILL CONTINUE TO ACT WITH DIGNITY AND COMMON SENSE”

Further stressing that they neither have an eye on anyone’s rights nor let anyone violate their own in the Eastern Mediterranean, the Aegean or anywhere, President Erdoğan said that they do not allow the rights and interests of the Turkish Cypriots to be usurped either, and added: “The impudence of those, who have the blood of our over 70 thousand Palestinian brothers and sisters in their hands, has no value for us. We never have and never will be deceived. We never have and never will be provoked. We as Türkiye will continue to act with dignity, foresight, common sense and calm within the framework of international law and our bilateral agreements in a manner that befits our historical experiences and deep-rooted tradition.”

“We work round-the-clock for the entire Türkiye. We have mobilized all our energy, efforts, experiences, and particularly our hearts to solve problems and heal wounds. Türkiye, led by competent and experienced cadres, is growing, strengthening, and advancing with firm steps towards its goal of being a global actor,” President Erdoğan stated.
