“Türkiye is becoming one of the founding actors of the new era”
Addressing AK Party’s parliamentary group meeting, President Erdoğan said: “Our country, which in the past was pushed off the mat in global competition due to various reasons, is now becoming one of the founding actors of the new era. We have already started to see the signs of this fact. As an influential country, whose attitudes, stance and discourse are carefully followed, Türkiye is more often referred to on every platform.”
President and Justice and Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at the party’s parliamentary group meeting.
“TRADE WARS WILL APPARENTLY CAUSE A GLOBAL EFFECT”
Stating that countries everywhere, not just in Asia, Europe, or America, produce policies aimed at strengthening society and economy, and that preparations in a wide range of areas, from trade and security to defense and population rates, are underway for a new period, President Erdoğan said: “Nearly all the actors of the international politics have embarked on new quests. Trade wars, triggered with customs tariffs, will apparently cause a global effect. It would be no exaggeration to say that a tornado, which will affect everyone, be them small or big, is coming. Our world is marching from a unipolar architecture to a multipolar one, especially in terms of economic and military capacities.”
“TÜRKİYE IS MORE OFTEN REFERRED TO ON EVERY PLATFORM”
“We should see the subsequent reports in recent months as the portent of this new era. I would like to repeat pridefully that Türkiye is one of the countries which analyze and manage well this painful as well as historical period and which are strong both at the table and on the ground. Our country, which in the past was pushed off the mat in global competition due to various reasons, is inshallah now becoming one of the founding actors of the new era. We have already started to see the signs of this fact. As an influential country, whose attitudes, stance and discourse are carefully followed, Türkiye is more often referred to on every platform. Global actors acknowledge, sometimes voluntarily, but most of the time compulsorily, that no equation can be worked out without Türkiye, even if it can, it will not last long,” President Erdoğan said.
Also touching upon the goal of terror-free Türkiye, President Erdoğan noted that they as the People’s Alliance will hopefully finalize this process, which they are managing meticulously and patiently, in a manner that will lead auspicious outcome for Türkiye, and added: “Tomorrow, we will receive DEM delegation, and will both talk to them and reaffirm our will to reach our goal of terror-free Türkiye.”
