Addressing AK Party’s parliamentary group meeting, President Erdoğan said: “We work round the clock in order for peace, calm, justice and the spirit of cooperation to prevail in not just our country, but also in the entire world, starting with our region. Türkiye is strengthening its role as one of the dynamos of global politics each passing day.”

“WE ARE EXERTING INTENSIVE EFFORTS FOR THE SOLUTION OF ALL THE CRISES IN OUR GEOGRAPHY”
Drawing attention to the wars, conflicts, massacres and oppressions all around the region, President Erdoğan said: “We work round the clock in order for peace, calm, justice and the spirit of cooperation to prevail in not just our country, but also in the entire world, starting with our region. Türkiye is strengthening its role as one of the dynamos of global politics each passing day. We are exerting intensive efforts for the solution of all the crises in our geography, including the Russia-Ukraine war, which has left behind 1,000 days, and the Gaza genocide, which has reached 14 months. We are pleased about the ceasefire agreement that has taken effect as of this morning between Israel and Lebanon. We expect all the parties, Israel in particular, to duly fulfill their responsibilities in order to preserve tranquility on the ground. Let me note that Türkiye stands ready to make any kind of contribution in order for the massacre in Gaza to end and for a lasting ceasefire to be established.”
“WE ARE DETERMINED TO ELIMINATE THE SCOURGE OF TERROR”
Voicing their determination to eliminate with all their means the scourge of terror inflicted for 40 years on the Turkish nation, President Erdoğan stressed: “We will raze the wall of terror sought to be built between Turks and Kurds to the ground. We will leave our children a Türkiye where there is no terror, no violence, or no terror-backed politics that rely on weapons and mountains. We are determined and sincere about this goal of ours. As I always say, we will continue to crush the terrorist organization anywhere as long as it continues its role as a hitman, pawn, mercenary and apparatus of global powers.”
“WE WILL NOT ALLOW A TERRORIST STRUCTURE TO BE ESTABLISHED ALONG OUR BORDERS”
Underscoring that the fight against terror will continue until the last terrorist is eliminated, President Erdoğan added: “We will step by step complete our project to rid our country’s southern borders of the threat of terrorist organizations through a security belt extending from the Mediterranean to the Iran border. We will inshallah add new ones to our country’s achievements regarding this issue through both diplomatic and military methods next year. The reason for the terrorist organization’s recent intensifying attacks on the Syrian ground is that they see the painful end awaiting them. No matter what they do, no matter whom they rely on, we will not allow a terrorist structure to be established along our borders.”
