“Türkiye will continue to stand with Bosnia and Herzegovina”

 

Speaking at a joint press conference with Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidential Council Chairman Bećirović, President Erdoğan said: “We as Türkiye have stood with Bosnia and Herzegovina since its proclamation of independence, and will continue to do so. Also, we determinedly maintain our strong support for Bosnia and Herzegovina’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.”

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Chairman Denis Bećirović of Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidential Council held a joint press conference following their bilateral meeting at Dolmabahçe Presidential Office in Istanbul.

Stating that they have addressed in detail the Türkiye-Bosnia and Herzegovina relations during their talks, President Erdoğan said: “We have exchanged our views on regional developments with a focus on the Balkans. We have also discussed the ongoing genocide in Gaza and the steps to be taken against Israel within the United Nations. As known by all, we as Türkiye have stood with Bosnia and Herzegovina since its proclamation of independence, and will continue to do so. Also, we determinedly maintain our strong support for Bosnia and Herzegovina’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.”
