“We are pursuing the dream of a great Türkiye”

 

Speaking at AK Party’s 8th Ordinary Provincial Congress in Ordu, President Erdoğan said: “Our heart beats only and solely for Türkiye. We are pursuing the dream of a great and powerful Türkiye.”

President and Justice and Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the party’s 8th ordinary provincial congress in Ordu.

Underlining that there is no room for egocentric, selfish attitudes in the service of nation, President Erdoğan said: “Our heart beats only and solely for Türkiye. We are pursuing the dream of a great and powerful Türkiye.”

“IN THE LAST 22 YEARS, WE INVESTED TL345 BILLION IN ORDU”

“In the last 22 years, we have invested a total of TL345 billion in Ordu with updated values. We invested TL580 million in justice, TL 35 billion in education, TL 48 billion in youth and sports, TL61 billion in social aid, TL12 billion in health, TL45 billion in environment and urbanization. And also investments, worth TL3.5 billion, are still underway,” President Erdoğan said.

Stating that TL87 billion was invested in transportation, TL43 billion in agriculture and forestry, a total of TL10 billion in industry and technology, including TL8 billion of support, President Erdoğan said: “We have invested TL40 billion in energy, TL2 billion in culture and tourism, TL6 billion of works and projects with incentives in labor and social security. In health, we have opened 58 health facilities, including 12 hospitals with a total of 1240 beds. We continue the construction of our 914-bed city hospital worth TL9 billion.”

Stating that they have completed projects such as Bolaman-Perşembe Road with 5 tunnels of 4,668 meters in length, Ünye Belt Line with two tunnels of 2,704 meters in length, Ordu Belt Line’s First Section with 3 double tunnels of 6,510 meters in length and Ordu-Ulubey-Mesudiye Road, President Erdoğan said: “We continue to work on 26 projects such as the second part of the belt line, Ünye-Akkuş-Niksar Road and Ordu City Hospital Connection Road. With the Black Sea Coast Railway Project extending from Samsun to Sarp, we plan to provide railway transportation between Ankara, the Black Sea and Georgia. With our project, we are connecting the Eastern Black Sea Region from Samsun to Ordu, Giresun, Trabzon, Rize and Artvin. Ordu will also have railway connection thanks to this project. We opened Ordu-Giresun Airport, which we built on the sea, in 2015. The passenger traffic of our airport exceeded 1 million last year. In agriculture and forestry, we have completed the Kumru Dam, the Korgan Dam is almost completed, and we are continuing the construction of the Kırtaş Dam. We are at the tender stage for the Çağlayan Dam.”
