“We cannot escape the responsibility history places on us”

 

Addressing AK Party’s provincial heads, President Erdoğan said: “Türkiye is a country bigger than 783,000 square kilometers. Even if it bothers some, Türkiye is much bigger than Türkiye. We cannot escape the responsibility history, geography, and our civilization place on us.”

President and Justice and Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the party’s extended provincial heads meeting in Ankara.

“With whatever sentiments we embarked on our journey 24 years ago, we serve our country today with the same sentiments, with love, as the whole organization. As the AK Party and the People’s Alliance, we are the hope and future of our nation, we are the guarantee of its independence. We are the assurance of our nation’s unity and solidarity. We saw once again during our latest trip to the South Asia that Türkiye is a country bigger than 783,000 square kilometers. Even if it bothers some, Türkiye is much bigger than Türkiye. My dear friends, we cannot escape the responsibility history, geography, and our civilization place on us,” President Erdoğan said.
