“We continue to heal the wounds of the February 6 earthquakes”

 

Addressing an opening ceremony in Malatya, President Erdoğan said: “We continue to heal the wounds of the February 6 earthquakes. In a ceremony we held last November in Kahramanmaraş, we handed over the keys of 155 thousand homes. As we had promised, we completed the construction of 45 percent of the houses by the end of 2024. And today, we are delivering the keys of the 201 thousandth home.”

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke at the Opening Ceremony of Malatya Beltway and Other Newly-Completed Projects in Malatya.

“We have come together here on the occasion of the key delivery ceremony of the newly-built houses. We are displaying one of the most concrete examples of the state-people solidarity in Malatya. We are feeling the excitement of handing over the keys of the 201 thousandth of the homes built across 11 provinces. I hope the new houses will be auspicious and I pray to Allah that our brothers and sisters may live at their houses with health and peace. We continue to heal the wounds of the February 6 earthquakes. In a ceremony we held last November in Kahramanmaraş, we handed over the keys of 155 thousand homes.
