“We will leave future generations a legacy of a strong Türkiye”
Addressing AK Party’s provincial congress in Konya, President Erdoğan said: “Each project and service we have introduced in our country in a period of over 22 years is also the manifestation of our gratitude to our nation. Now, our goal is to build the Century of Türkiye. To that end, we expand our vision, raise the bar for our programmes and projects, and take bold steps that would solve our country’s chronic problems.”
President and Justice and Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the party’s 8th ordinary provincial congress in Konya.
President Erdoğan said: “Each project and service we have introduced in our country in a period of over 22 years is also the manifestation of our gratitude to our nation. Now, our goal is to build the Century of Türkiye. To that end, we expand our vision, raise the bar for our programmes and projects, and take bold steps that would solve our country’s chronic problems. With Allah’s permission, as a result of the great successes we will achieve both at home and abroad, we will leave future generations a legacy of a strong Türkiye.”
“CHANGES OF HISTORIC PROPORTIONS OCCUR IN OUR GEOGRAPHY”
Stating that they all follow the critical incidents taking place in the region and the world, President Erdoğan noted: “Changes of historic proportions occur in the geography, at the heart of which Türkiye is located. We endeavor to successfully manage all these changes with a strategic mind and vision in a way that will benefit our country. We leave no job to chance. We are in the entire geography dear to us, from Syria to Gaza, involved in incidents and stand with the oppressed and the wronged. Obviously, while we constantly follow regional and international developments, we do not refrain from feeling the pulse of the street or giving ear to the voice of our citizens. Our another priority, which is as important as foreign policy, is to solve the issue of the high cost of living, which deeply hurts our nation. Inflation and high cost of living are the mother of all evil. To that end, we aim to lower inflation firstly, and then prevent unbalanced increases in prices and re-strengthen the stability in markets.”
“WE HAVE INVESTED TL888 BILLION IN KONYA”
Stressing that they as AK Party have made public investments worth of 888 billion liras in Konya in the past 22 years, President Erdoğan added: “We have invested TL4 billion in justice, TL51 billion in education, TL9 billion in youth and sports, TL97 billion in social aid, TL31 billion in healthcare, TL155 billion in environment and urbanization, TL147 billion in transportation, TL234 billion in agriculture and forestry, including agricultural grant supports, TL33 billion in industry and technology, 11 billion of it investment and 22 million financial supports, TL130 billion in energy as the state and private sector, TL4 billion in culture and tourism, and TL17 billion in labor and social security, including incentives.”
“We have opened 4 new universities, 2 of them state universities, in Konya. We have built 114 sports facilities, including a stadium. We have built 116 healthcare facilities, including 39 hospitals with a total bed capacity of 4,264. We will complete the construction of 4 hospitals in Yunak, Derebucak, Seydişehir and Akşehir with a total bed capacity of 340, and put them into service by the end of this year.”
