The "Panel on Communications, Culture, and Science in the Century of Türkiye" was held as part of the XIV. Ambassadors Conference hosted by Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan.
The panel was attended by Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, the Presidency's Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun and President of the Council of Higher Education (CoHE) Prof Erol Özvar.
The Panel on Communications, Culture, and Science in the Century of Türkiye focused on the protection of cultural heritage, tourism, international students and education, combating disinformation and strategic communication, along with the events that could be organised as part of the Republic's centennial celebrations.
The panel addressed coordination and cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other relevant ministries and presidencies in the fields of culture and public diplomacy.
The XIV. Ambassadors Conference was hosted by Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan in Ankara between August 5 and 9, with the participation of all ambassadors employed by the Ministry and its foreign offices.
The XIV. Ambassadors Conference, which has been held annually since 2008, was officially inaugurated yesterday.
