“As the Presidential System of Government takes root, the construction of the Century of Türkiye will further speed up”

Speaking after the Presidential Cabinet Meeting, President Erdoğan said: “No one will ever be able to take Türkiye back to its unstable days whose symbol was short-lived coalitions. As the Presidential System of Government takes root, the construction of the Century of Türkiye will inshallah further speed up. We attach importance to the preservation and development of this historic achievement in our administration system in terms of Türkiye’s journey to the future.”

Drawing attention to the 7th year of the Presidential System of Government, President Erdoğan said: “No one will ever be able to take Türkiye back to its unstable days whose symbol was short-lived coalitions. As the Presidential System of Government takes root, the construction of the Century of Türkiye will inshallah further speed up. We attach importance to the preservation and development of this historic achievement in our administration system in terms of Türkiye’s journey to the future.”
“WE CONTINUE TO HEAL THE WOUNDS OF THE FEBRUARY 6 EARTHQUAKES”
Stating that they continue to heal the wounds of the February 6 earthquakes, President Erdoğan noted that they delivered the keys of the 49,056 new residential units and workplaces in Kahramanmaraş on June 19, and added: “We have carried the construction works, which we have been carrying out with a spirit of mobilization, to a new stage with the 250 thousandth house we delivered in Kahramanmaraş. We will have completed additional 203 thousand independent sections and delivered the keys of 453 thousand residential units and workplaces by the end of this year. Another noteworthy aspect of our Kahramanmaraş visit was President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan having shared our enthusiasm. We inaugurated the neighborhood of Azerbaijan together with my brother Ilham.”
“TÜRKİYE WILL HOST THE 2026 NATO HEADS OF STATE AND GOVERNMENT SUMMIT”
Pointing to the NATO Summit held in The Hague on June 24-25, 2025, President Erdoğan went on to say: “We have reflected our will aimed at lifting of the obstacles before defense industry products trade on the Alliance’s documents. We met with many leaders, including President Trump of the U.S., and discussed our bilateral relations and the issues on the agenda. We drew attention to the oppression ongoing for 21 months in Gaza both at the closed session and during our talks with leaders. The importance of The Hague Summit for us was the identification of our country as the host of the next summit. Türkiye will inshallah host the 2026 NATO Heads of State and Government Summit. We will host NATO leaders in our capital, Ankara, and lay the groundwork of the adoption of very important decisions.”
