“We are determinedly implementing the formulas that will lower inflation”

Addressing AK Party’s provincial congress in Malatya, President Erdoğan said: “We have started to gradually reap the fruits of our economic programme. We are determinedly implementing the formulas that will lower inflation which we see as the main cause of the current challenges in economy.”
President and Justice and Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the party’s 8th ordinary provincial congress in Malatya.
Recalling the hotel fire in the Bolu Kartalkaya ski resort, President Erdoğan once again wished Allah’s mercy upon the 78 citizens who lost their lives in the disaster, adding that those responsible for the fire will definitely be brought to account.
“WE CANNOT IMPROVE EMPLOYMENT WITHOUT PRODUCTION”
Stating that they have always honestly shared their successes, achievements and problems awaiting solutions alike with citizens, President Erdoğan said: “We have started to gradually reap the fruits of our economic programme. We are determinedly implementing the formulas that will lower inflation which we see as the main cause of the current challenges in economy. We are attaching particular importance to increase production, employment and exports while combatting inflation. Because, we cannot protect and improve employment and exports without production.”
“WE HAVE INVESTED TL511 BILLION IN MALATYA”
Underscoring that they have invested TL511 billion in Malatya with current figures over the past 22 years, President Erdoğan noted: “We have introduced projects and services worth of TL5 billion in justice, TL33 billion in education, TL6.7 billion in youth and sports, TL58 billion in social aid, TL13 billion in healthcare, TL186 billion in environment and urbanization, with an ongoing investments worth of TL209 billion, TL92 billion in transportation, TL51 billion in agriculture and forestry, TL25 billion in industry and technology, 4 billion of it investment and 21 billion financial supports, TL30 billion in energy, TL3 billion in culture and tourism, and TL8 billion in labor and social security, including incentives.”
“We have built 10,000-bed-capacity higher education dormitories, a stadium and a total of 78 sports facilities in the area of youth and sports. In healthcare, we have put 75 healthcare facilities, including 16 hospitals, which have a total bed capacity of nearly 1,827, at your disposal. We will turn Malatya Training and Research Hospital, which has been in the service of our citizens since 2013, into a city hospital by strengthening it with an additional building,” President Erdoğan added.
