“As long as the voice of the Anatolian media is loud and strong, our democracy will flourish”
Speaking at the 10th Anatolian Media Awards Ceremony, President Erdoğan said: “If there is Anatolian media, there is the voice of the nation. As long as the voice of the Anatolian media is loud and strong, our democracy will flourish and continue to rise on solid foundations.”
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the 10th Anatolian Media Awards Ceremony at the Presidential Complex.
“Those who seek the truth, those who pursue what is right, those who try to carry the heavy burden of being the fourth estate do not only report news. Those who act with this awareness also make a note in history, become the voice of the voiceless masses, and take a unique and free stance in an increasingly polarized media order. The Anatolian Broadcasters Association brings together 320 local and regional radios, televisions, newspapers and magazines, filling such an important gap in the media sector. As I always say; if there is Anatolian media, there is the voice of the nation. As long as the voice of the Anatolian media is loud and strong, our democracy will, inshallah, flourish and continue to rise on solid foundations. I would like to emphasize once again that I find your presence and the task you fulfill very valuable,” President Erdoğan said.
