“Everyone in our homeland is an equal and honorable citizen of our state”
Speaking at the 110th Term District Governorship Course Drawing Ceremony, President Erdoğan said: “From Enez to Şemdinli, from Şavşat to Datça, from Aralık to Gökçeada, all 922 districts of our 81 provinces are equally valuable to us. Regardless of their faith, identity, origin or political view, everyone living in our 783,000-square-kilometer-wide homeland is an equal and honorable citizen of our state.”
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the 110th Term District Governorship Course Drawing Ceremony in Ankara.
“From Enez to Şemdinli, from Şavşat to Datça, from Aralık to Gökçeada, all 922 districts of our 81 provinces are equally valuable to us. As a state, it is our top priority to ensure that our citizens living in these districts have access to the highest level of public services, and live in peace and safety. We have to develop each district—including its infrastructure, commercial life, agriculture and transportation, healthcare, justice, and education—and prepare it strongly for the future. To achieve this, you, our young district governors, also have a crucial role to play. Never ever forget that everyone living in our 783,000-square-kilometer-wide homeland is an equal and honorable citizen of our state regardless of their faith, identity, origin, political view, sect or affiliation.”
