“Our police, gendarmerie and coast guard work selflessly for our nation’s security”

 

Speaking at the Commissioning Ceremony of 9,200 New Vehicles within Gendarmerie, Police and Coast Guard, President Erdoğan said: “Our police in the cities, our gendarmerie in rural areas and our coast guard at the seas work selflessly for our nation’s tranquility, well-being and security. All our security forces serve the 86 million in harmony and coordination, and with the authority they derive from the constitution and the laws.”

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at the Commissioning Ceremony of 9,200 New Vehicles within Gendarmerie, Police and Coast Guard at Atatürk Airport in Istanbul.

President Erdoğan said: “Our police in the cities, our gendarmerie in rural areas and our coast guard at the seas work selflessly for our nation’s tranquility, well-being and security. All our security forces serve the 86 million in harmony and coordination, and with the authority they derive from the constitution and the laws. I, on behalf of my country and nation, thank all my brothers and sisters within the security units working round-the-clock all across our country for our tranquility and security. We as the government provide any kind of necessary support to our security forces in order for them to fulfill their duties in the best manner. Last year, we launched the works to renew the vehicles which they had in their inventories and which completed their economic lives. Thus, we increase both the quality of our mission vehicles and the efficiency of the service provided to our citizens. We provided our gendarmerie and police with 7,204 new vehicles during the ceremony we held here last year. And today, we are officially putting 9,200 more vehicles at your disposal.”
