President Erdoğan: 1915 Çanakkale Bridge is a proof that we are now another step closer to our goal of great and strong Turkey

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the installation ceremony of the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge’s final deck.

President Erdoğan said: “The 1915 Çanakkale Bridge, which is the longest middle span suspension bridge in the world, is really an important masterpiece with its design, engineering, construction and the technical knowledge it has instilled in our country. The bridge, which has already become one of the symbols of our country, is a proof that we are now another step closer to our goal of great and strong Turkey. With the completion of this vital part of the transportation infrastructure needed by Turkey, which aims to join the world’s greatest countries in terms of investments, production, exportation and employment, we now look to the future in a more hopeful manner. With the entry into service of an important leg of the global transportation project that connects Europe, Asia and Africa to each other, social relations as well as trade and tourism will gain momentum, enhance and be facilitated.”
