President Erdoğan addresses opening ceremony of Pınarhisar and Çakıllı beltways
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed via videoconference the opening ceremony of Pınarhisar and Çakıllı beltways.
Voicing his wish for Pınarhisar and Çakıllı beltways to lead to auspicious outcomes for Türkiye and the region, President Erdoğan said that the beltways were one of the most important sections of the 71-kilometer project that would connect the province of Kırklareli to organized industrial zones and European Free Zone via the district of Saray.
Underscoring that most parts of these roads on this route, which he noted was one of Türkiye’s leading production and trade centers, had been completed, President Erdoğan stated: “Today, with the 7.5-kilometer Pınarhisar and the 3-kilometer Çakıllı beltways, we will have put into service the 22-kilometer section of the project in total. The beltways, which we are inaugurating together with underpasses, railroad crossings and artistic structures, will contribute to the thinning of the traffic across the Thrace region.”
