President Erdoğan: Ankara made history on July 15 by defending its freedom and future

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at a mass opening ceremony in the Keçiören district of Ankara.

Recalling that Ankara was the city where the War of Independence was led, President Erdoğan said: “Ankara is the city that founded our Republic. Ankara defended the late Menderes and the late Özal. Ankara embodies all colors and riches of Turkey. Ankara made history on July 15 by defending its freedom and future. Ankara embraces all that is national and indigenous from politics to industry. Above all, Ankara is our capital and the apple of our eyes.”
