President Erdoğan: As long as we can keep the disease under control, a better outcome awaits us
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan chaired a coordination meeting on the coronavirus (Covid-19) at Çankaya Presidential Palace.
Delivering the opening speech of the meeting, President Erdoğan said the measures to be taken in the upcoming period will be addressed during the meeting, and that Turkey has thus far gradually implemented the healthcare and other measures to keep the disease under control and will continue to do so.
Drawing attention to the serious economic outcomes of the process, President Erdoğan noted: “As Turkey, we must both prevent this disease from becoming a pandemic and keep the production, trade, employment and economy alive.”
