President Erdoğan: As the center of global production and trade shifts in the world, Türkiye stands out as the most powerful alternative
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered remarks at the 51st Mukhtars Meeting at the Presidential Complex.
“TÜRKİYE IS CLOSER THAN EVER TO SUCCEEDING IN ITS TWO CENTURY-LONG ENDEAVOR FOR DEMOCRACY AND DEVELOPMENT”
Recalling that they had to struggle, throughout their 20-year administration, every day to build the great and powerful Türkiye of the future while also making up for the shortcomings of the past, President Erdoğan underscored that Türkiye was closer than ever to succeeding in its two century-long endeavor for democracy and development.
President Erdoğan continued his remarks as follows: “As the center of global production and trade shifts in the world, Türkiye stands out as the most powerful alternative. Factories are working around the clock at full capacity, and new investments are being made constantly. In terms of employment, we have even surpassed the pre-pandemic level and neared the threshold of 30 million. Our foreign trade volume has reached $500 billion, over $225 billion of which was exports. In tourism, we have left behind a season during which we passed all our competitors along the Mediterranean, and we are getting ready for the new season which we believe will be much more lucrative. As the uncertainty caused by the pandemic rises, the opportunities before Türkiye continue to turn into gains.”
