“August Atatürk,
We once again remember Your Excellency, your comrades-in-arms and our heroic martyrs on this special day, when we are having the pride of observing the 98th anniversary of our Republic.
We work day and night in order to strengthen the Republic, which our martyrs have entrusted to us at the cost of their lives, to raise its prestige and make it one of the 10 most powerful economies of the world.
Turkey is continuing its journey of development with its accomplishments in exportation, employment, production and investments while the entire humanity is grappling with serious crises due to the coronavirus pandemic.
And now we, as the members of a nation whose glorious history is full of victories, are determined to make sure that our Republic achieves its goals for 2023.
May you rest in peace.”
