President Erdoğan attends ceremony held for the public employment of citizens with disabilities

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered remarks at a ceremony held for the public employment of citizens with disabilities at Beştepe Nation’s Convention and Culture Center in Ankara.

President Erdoğan said: “With the 63 thousand appointments we have made thus far, we have both ensured the co-existence of our brothers and sisters with disabilities in our society and enabled them to become individuals that can produce works beneficial to the society together with themselves. In the similar vein, the number of the public workers with disabilities has reached 127 thousand, which has taken the total number of the public employment of citizens with disabilities over the past 19 years to some 192 thousand.”
