President Erdoğan attends graduation ceremony of Ibn Haldun University
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the graduation ceremony of Ibn Haldun University in Istanbul.
President Erdoğan, in his address at the ceremony, pointed out that amid the restructuring of the global administration and economy system, Türkiye had set itself big goals, and said: “With the strength we have drawn from the democracy and development infrastructure we have built in our country in the past two decades, we are step by step advancing towards our goals. I believe that we have successfully overcome the recent challenges by fighting against tutelage, terrorist organizations, putschists and economic hitmen. We have tested our healthcare and production strength during the pandemic. We have seen our endurance in the face of such regional crises as the Russia-Ukraine war.”
Underscoring that Türkiye was preparing itself having completed its recovery and growth to enter a period, in which all the countries, from the developed to the least developed, were on the threshold of very grave political, economic and social turmoils, President Erdoğan noted: “We are both consolidating the international legitimacy and increasing the regional support of our determination to clear our southern borders of terrorist organizations. Türkiye is in a position of a key country capable of holding talks at every level with the parties in the war taking place north of our country, keeping the avenues of dialogue open, and ensuring cooperation in such possible areas as the recent grain agreement.”
