President Erdoğan attends Necip Fazıl Awards Ceremony

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the Necip Fazıl Awards Ceremony at Atatürk Culture Center in Istanbul.

Announcing the awardees at the ceremony, President Erdoğan said that this year’s Necip Fazıl Award in the field of international culture-arts went to Palestinian artist Sliman Mansour, and added: “I congratulate the treasured artist Sliman Mansour, who supports the resistance of the oppressed Palestinians through his brushes,  palette and paintings, and reflects Palestine with all its elements on his canvas. In the presence of Mr. Mansour, I salute our Palestinian brothers and sisters, who have been putting up a fight for survival under the Israeli attacks for 455 days, and once again wish, on this occasion, Allah’s mercy upon our Palestinian martyrs.”
