President Erdoğan attends opening ceremony of Academic Year 2022-2023

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the opening ceremony of Academic Year 2022-2023 held at Beştepe Nation’s Convention and Culture Center.

Making a speech at the ceremony, President Erdoğan noted that the humanity had for the past few years been going through a troubled period, which he underscored had started with the pandemic and continued with economic problems and hot conflicts, and added: “Almost every day we wake up to new crises sparked off in a different part of the world. The global system, which was built following the Second World War with the aim of protecting the interests of the victors, has been having its one of the biggest crises of the past 70 years.”

Stating that every crisis brought about opportunities as well as threats, President Erdoğan said: “Moments of crisis are the harbingers of a new period and brighter days as well for those who are prepared for them. Türkiye, with the projects, investments and reforms it has implemented in the past two decades, has prepared itself for these very days.”
