President Erdoğan attends opening ceremony of the July 15 People’s Garden in Istanbul

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at the opening ceremony of the July 15 People’s Garden in the Esenler district of Istanbul.

“THE MORE WE PROTECT ISTANBUL, THE MORE WE CONTRIBUTE TO THE FUTURE OF OUR COUNTRY”

Underlining the importance of Istanbul, President Erdoğan said: “Istanbul is one of the main reasons behind the animosity harbored towards our country and our people. We are aware of the fact that the more we protect Istanbul, the more we contribute to the future of our country.”

Also touching upon the issue of terrorism, President Erdoğan stated that the fight against terrorism will continue with determination and that terrorists can no longer pose a threat to the Turkish people.
