President Erdoğan attends Radio and Television Journalists Association’s media awards ceremony

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan participated in the Radio and Television Journalists Association’s media awards ceremony held in Ankara.

Delivering a speech at the ceremony, President Erdoğan said that Turkey’s achievements in economy, democracy and the fight against terror, and the steps it take to preserve the regional peace and stability are deliberately disregarded in international media.

Further stressing that Turkey cannot make any concessions on the freedom of press or on its national security, President Erdoğan noted: “To that end, we must continue our path by ensuring the balance between security and freedom.”
