President Erdoğan attends Science Dissemination Awards Ceremony

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the Academy Awards Ceremony of the Science Dissemination Society in Istanbul.

Expressing his happiness to come together with the supporters and followers of the Science Dissemination Society and Foundation, President Erdoğan congratulated the awardees and hailed the 70-year-long history of the Society, which now has 178 branches, 189 student dormitories and 67 education centers.

“TÜRKİYE’S STRONG INFRASTRUCTURE LIES BEHIND ITS RESILIENCE TO GLOBAL CRISES”

Describing the last 19 years of Türkiye as a symbol of transition to a new phase in the longstanding struggle that extends even beyond the republican history, President Erdoğan stated: “We have not only strengthened democracy and enhanced the rights and freedoms in our country, we have also realized centuries-old longings. Through every step we have taken, we have demonstrated that the people of this country would never lose their perseverance to maintain their existence in their homeland together with their faith, values and culture. We have provided our people with the life standards they deserve thanks to the strong infrastructure we have built in our country in every area including education, healthcare, security, justice, transportation, energy, urbanization and sports. This strong infrastructure lies behind Türkiye’s resilience to global crises as well as its self-confidence to turn crises into an opportunity.”

Highlighting Türkiye’s ongoing fight in economy, President Erdoğan noted that the government is aware of the problems price hikes cause in citizens’ daily lives. “We are of course aware of the price instabilities stemming from the fluctuations in foreign exchange rates and of the ensuing uncertainties. However, we will stand up to them just as we resisted the tutelage, terrorist organizations, putschists and global barons of power.”
