President Erdoğan attends “Science Dissemination Awards” event
Speaking at the “Science Dissemination Awards” event, President Erdoğan said: “The interest in the Science Dissemination Awards exponentially increases each passing event. I have learned with great pleasure that the Science Dissemination Awards will acquire an international identity, and this ring of science will go beyond our borders and reach all across the world as of next year.”
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at the “Science Dissemination Awards” event held at Atatürk Cultural Center in Istanbul.
Stating that the interest in the Science Dissemination Awards exponentially increases each passing event, President Erdoğan said: “A new record has been broken this year in three different branches with a total of 1,324 applications from 188 institutions, 174 of them universities. I have learned with great pleasure that the Science Dissemination Awards will acquire an international identity, and this ring of science will go beyond our borders and reach all across the world as of next year.”
Drawing attention to the genocide that has been carried out in Gaza for two years, President Erdoğan stressed: “The 80 per cent of the schools in Gaza, that is 668 schools, have been targeted by the Israeli bombs. 165 schools, universities and educational institutions have totally collapsed and 392 schools have become unserviceable in these attacks. Over 13.5 thousand students, more than 830 teachers and education staff, and 193 scientists and academics have been martyred by occupation forces. Over 785 thousand students are devoid of the right to education. These are not just the merciless outcomes of a war. A deliberate, intentional, planned mass slaughter has been carried out here.”
“ISRAEL IS CONSTANTLY VIOLATING THE CEASEFIRE”
Also pointing to the ceasefire reached with Türkiye’s contributions as well, President Erdoğan said that Israel is constantly violating the ceasefire under various pretexts, and added that Hamas, despite Israel’s provocations, is displaying a patient approach.
Pointing out that Türkiye is doing its part for a fair and lasting peace in terms of both the preservation of the ceasefire and humanitarian aid, President Erdoğan noted that they will determinedly maintain their two-state solution policy until a free, sovereign and independent State of Palestine is established based on the 1967 borders, with East al-Quds as its capital.

Also drawing attention to the terror-free Türkiye process, President Erdoğan continued as follows: “We obviously know whom this strategic move of ours, which will inshallah change the destiny of the entire region as well as of our country and nation, annoys and worries which actors. We know well whom our efforts aimed at foiling a half-century-long game alarm which powers feeding on blood, tears and conflicts. I am telling them just this that you will not succeed this time. With Allah’s help and the prayers of our august nations, we will succeed this time. We will inshallah realize our ideal of a great, strong, reputable and victorious Türkiye.”
