President Erdoğan, Chief Adviser of Interim Government of Bangladesh Yunus talk over phone
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with Chief Adviser of the Interim Government of Bangladesh Muhammad Yunus.
The call addressed the flood disaster in Bangladesh, the Türkiye-Bangladesh relations, regional and global matters.
Expressing his sorrow over the flood disaster in Bangladesh, President Erdoğan extended his condolences for those who lost their lives and wished patience to their families.
President Erdoğan stated that Türkiye stands, as always, with the people of Bangladesh in their fight against the disaster and healing the wounds.
Noting that Türkiye and Bangladesh continue to improve their cooperation in all areas, President Erdoğan expressed his wish that the elections to be held by the interim government may lead to auspicious results for the people of Bangladesh.
President Erdoğan also wished success to Muhammad Yunus in his new office.
