President Erdoğan, Emir Al Thani of Qatar talk over phone

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani of Qatar.

The call addressed Israel’s attack on the Hamas negotiation delegation in Qatar as well as the steps to be taken jointly against this. 

President Erdoğan stated that he condemns Israel’s attack, which aims to deepen the conflict, tension and instability in the region and constitutes a flagrant violation of the friendly and allied Qatar’s sovereignty. 

Extending his condolences for those martyred in the nefarious attack, President Erdoğan stressed that Türkiye stands by the state and people of Qatar with all its means. 

The two leaders agreed to continue working together for the immediate termination of the massacre in Gaza.
