President Erdoğan, Emir Al Thani of Qatar talk over phone

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani of Qatar.

The call addressed the Israel-Iran conflict, bilateral relations, and regional issues.

President Erdoğan stated during the call that he is engaging in intense diplomatic contacts regarding the ongoing conflict triggered by Israel's attack on Iran, that he will maintain his efforts to end the cycle of violence, and that Netanyahu has revealed himself to be the most significant threat to the region's security.

President Erdoğan added that the Israeli attacks should not overshadow the humanitarian crisis and genocide in Gaza and that these developments should not be allowed to spill over into Syria as well.
