President Erdoğan: Gaziantep has become a source of pride for our nation with its achievements during the pandemic

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at the Justice and Development Party’s provincial advisory council meeting in Gaziantep.

Drawing a parallel between Gaziantep’s current outstanding achievements in economy and the critical role it played during Türkiye’s War of Independence, President Erdoğan said: “Gaziantep is now setting an example for our country by producing, working and contributing to the economy in a fashion similar to the way it instilled hope in our nation through its fight at a time of clouds of occupation over our homeland. I believe that Gaziantep will continue to set a model in investments, employment, production and exportation as well as in growth. Gaziantep, with its achievements, has become a source of pride for our nation particularly during the pandemic going on for the last two years.”
