President Erdoğan in Azerbaijan

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has arrived in the Azerbaijani city of Zangilan for a one-day working visit at the invitation of President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan.

President Erdoğan was welcomed by President Aliyev at Zangilan International Airport, the second airport built with Turkish firms’ contributions in Azerbaijan’s lands liberated from occupation.

The two leaders were presented with the symbolic keys of the airport after cutting the ribbon. President Erdoğan and President Aliyev toured the airport following the opening ceremony.

Deputy Speaker Celal Adan of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (GNAT), Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Vahit Kirişci, and Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu are accompanying President Erdoğan in Azerbaijan.
