President Erdoğan in quake-hit Kilis

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan inspected the ongoing search and rescue efforts in the earthquake-hit Kilis.

After paying a visit to the earthquake victims under treatment at hospital, President Erdoğan delivered remarks to reporters.

Stating that the number of the citizens who had lost their lives due to the two earthquakes had reached 16,546 and of the injured 66,132, President Erdoğan said: “I once again wish Allah’s mercy upon all our citizens who lost their lives, and a speedy recovery to all our citizens in the 10 earthquake-hit provinces, and extend my condolences to all their relatives.”

“Our ministries, institutions, nongovernmental organizations and citizens work selflessly to help the earthquake victims,” the President noted.
