President Erdoğan in Rize
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has arrived in Rize’s district of Güneysu, his hometown, to attend several events in Rize and Trabzon.
Addressing the citizens waiting for him outside the Merkez Mosque, President Erdoğan drew attention to his recent busy schedule, including the United Nations General Assembly and other programmes in Istanbul, and said that he will attend several events the next two days in Rize and Trabzon.
Reminding the floods and landslides that have taken place in Rize in the recent days, President Erdoğan noted that he would also like to make inspections at the Ayder Plateau.
