President Erdoğan in Russia

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan arrived in the Russian city of Sochi to pay a one-day working visit at the invitation of President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation.

Upon his arrival at Sochi International Airport, President Erdoğan was welcomed by Governor of Krasnodar Veniamin Kondratyev, Mayor of Sochi Alexey Kopaigorodsky, Head of the State Protocol Department at Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Igor Bogdashev, Turkey’s Ambassador to Moscow Mehmet Samsar, Turkey’s Consul General in Novorossiysk Fırat Bayar, and the staff of the Embassy and the Consulate.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar and Minister of Treasury and Finance Berat Albayrak are accompanying the President in Russia.
