President Erdoğan in Ukraine
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who is paying an official visit to Ukraine for the 8th meeting of the Turkey-Ukraine High Level Strategic Cooperation Council, was welcomed with an official ceremony by President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine at the Mariyinsky Palace in Kyiv.
Visiting the Monument to the Unknown Soldier in Kyiv as part of his programme, President Erdoğan laid a wreath at the monument and proceeded to the Mariyinsky Palace, where he was welcomed with an official ceremony by President Zelensky. After the national anthems of the two countries were played, President Erdoğan inspected the guard of honor. Following the mutual introduction of the delegations, the two presidents proceeded inside to hold their tête-à-tête and co-chair the Council meeting.
Minister of Justice Abdulhamit Gül, Minister of Treasury and Finance Berat Albayrak and Minister of Trade Ruhsar Pekcan are accompanying President Erdoğan in Ukraine.
